Jack Cantele - Co-Founder & Partner

Jack has spent his entire career in commercial real estate, most recently leading investments for Summit Hotel Properties (NYSE: INN) from 2017 until 2024. During his seven-year tenure at Summit, Jack managed the entire investment platform executing approximately $2.0 billion of transactions including the acquisition, disposition, and development of more than 50 premium-branded select-service and extended stay hotels. His track record includes $1.6 billion of hotel acquisitions ranging from small ($20-$50 million) single-asset purchases to complex structured M&A deals including the acquisition of a 27-hotel portfolio for a total consideration of more than $800 million, and approximately $400 million of asset sales.

Prior to joining Summit, Jack was a real estate capital markets analyst at HFF in Dallas, Texas where he specialized in debt and equity placement transactions across all commercial real estate asset classes. During his two-year tenure at HFF, Jack executed more than $750 million of financial transactions including acquisition financing, construction financing, equity recapitalizations, and joint ventures for multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hospitality and land assets.

Jack received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University where he was also the placekicker for the football team from 2011-2015.
